After the passing of a beloved pet, one of our greatest wishes is to reconnect with our pet that has passed – to experience the bond and closeness again, to know that our pet is okay in the afterlife, and perhaps to ask for our pet’s forgiveness for things we did or feel we should have done.
Also, we struggle to find guidance on how we can move on now that pet is gone. In the following, I will show you two ways to connect with a pet in the afterlife. One is through a Sacred Spirit Journey, through which we can connect with and communicate with the pet that has passed and bring back the deceased pet’s message for the grieving human companion.
Another way is to connect through signs and synchronicities. That is a very common way, both in itself and, as you will see, also often in connection with journeys to meet the spirit of the pets.
I will share a Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with a client of mine, Michelle’s, angel dog Angus. In that journey another animal showed up. and you will see how that same animal showed up synchronistically after the journey both for me and for Michelle. A wonderful confirmation of the journey and our connection with Angus the angel dog.

As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Michelle’s angel dog Angus, I find myself in a beautiful sky landscape filled with light; with the infinite blue sky, and some white fluffy clouds. My spirit guide is next to me, and I see Angus come walking towards me. I notice he’s accompanied by a white dove. At the beginning, before I started the journey (as I was setting the intention) Angus was already there – approaching me slowly, sniffing me and checking out who I was. He decided I was okay.
Now, up in the beautiful sky landscape, Angus acts like he already knows me. Angus comes close and says: I bring the dove with me to bring peace to my family at home. I am going to send this dove to Michelle, and help her get peace of mind and peace of heart following my loss. The white of the dove symbolizes the purity of spirit and of the love I feel for her.
From my heart to hers, there is a strong connection, a bond that cannot be broken. The dove will help her re-discover the bond and find the love and gratitude that exists between us.
Enter your heart with trust. As you never doubted your love for me nor mine for you, return to that same trust and know without a doubt that we are still connected – soul to soul, heart to heart.
Let all your worries go and know I am okay. You did fine on the last day, and nothing you did was ‘wrong’. There is no need for any regrets.
All you need to do is to say your goodbyes to me now instead. Let me know how you are doing. Seek comfort in the strength of my love for you, and in the peace and light I hold for you.
In this place of infinity, there’s no room for anything but the eternal love that has always connected us and which will always be a link between us.
Our souls will meet again. Don’t let your doubts take over.
Return to some of our happy memories and share them with me. Find a place we used to spend time together, and when the light is just right there, connect with my heart through yours and see, feel, and relive some of the many wonderful times we had, you and I. Return to those times – not with sadness but with gratitude. Gratitude and appreciation.
Every day find something you are grateful for, and know I am with you, right beside you – every time you need me. You’re not alone on your soul’s path. We are connected through our souls and our hearts – not just through sharing physical space. Don’t let the loss of the physical connection cut you off from experiencing the continued love we share.
Look for my signs of peace and of love. You’ll know in your heart they are from me. As you heal your heart day by day, it is not only your heart that is healed and thereby a lessening of the pain, it is a strengthening of and awareness of the bond that we share. It is our togetherness that is re-affirmed.
As before, when we were together in physical form, we are now together in spirit. You’ll experience that more clearly when you remember that you are more than your physical body. The essence of you has a direct connect with the essence of me. In fact, ultimately we are one.
As we say our goodbyes now, allow yourself to return to your heart. Let your heart be at peace, and feel me there. Experience my love there, my light and my eternal gratitude for all that you did for me and all that you were.
Don’t fear the present moment but find me there. I am the light that shines in your heart. I am the soft voice in the stillness that tells you all is well. I am okay, and you are okay too.
Find me through the things we used to do and find me in your heart. I’m near, and with you every step of the way. With deep gratitude, I send you now this white dove with peace. Keep the image of that white dove with you in your heart and know that peace is yours.

It is not unusual for synchronicities to occur in connection with journeys, and they may happen before, during or after the journey. There were two powerful synchronicities with this journey. After doing the journey to connect with Angus, I went online and the first thing I saw was an image of a white dove being held in loving embrace.

And there was another image of a white dove. Dual synchronicities are indeed a powerful confirmation.
