It is through Sacred Spirit Journeys, a variation of shamanic journeys, that I connect and communicate with animals in the afterlife. Through these journeys I can also connect with animals that are still alive, and with Spirit. These journeys also bring healing, guidance and insights for clients concerning many different aspects of their lives. One thing that brings much comfort when your beloved pet has passed, is to receive a personal healing message from them.
You can both listen to and read Koda’s message below.
During my morning walk, I set the intention as I prepare to do a Sacred Spirit Journey to meet Koda. What stood out to me during my walk:
As I go down the hill by the lake, a woman walking a horse comes towards me, heading up the hill. That is rare, and definitely relevant to the journey. I see a yellow car on the way back; unusual to see a car with that color.
Horse is a lot about intuition and intention, and can also carry you forward quickly. Stephanie is already in touch with her intuition, but is now taking it to the next level (up the hill). Walking up the hill can be seen as a symbol or metaphor of the learning journey Stephanie is now on. Use horse, intention, and intuition on this path.
The yellow car reminded me of Archangel Uriel, whose color is golden, and who helps with intuitive insights. He can also help you be a beacon of light.
When I arrive home from my walk, I get ready for the journey. As part of my preparations, I become fully present where I am, taking a deep breath in and relaxing into peace and presence on the exhalation. Being here now. Filling my body with my awareness. The whole body. Filling it with gratitude and light. I become full of light. Sparkling light which radiates out in all directions.
I center in the middle of the light and feel my spirit guide with me. I then call on Koda, sending out my intention and request to meet her.
It feels like I am waiting for something. Then the scene shifts; my spirit guide and I are on a train riding out into the light. That’s a new one :-)
As the train moves, the landscape becomes more and more clear. It is like one of those scenic train rides in an amazingly beautiful landscape. We look out, fascinated with the view. Mountains, valleys, rivers and streams, forests, small villages, meadows.
Koda comes walking down the aisle to us in our train car. She stops by us, smiles her kind smile and says:
“Greetings and welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride, every moment of it, for beauty is all around you.”
Stephanie comes too and sits across from us. Stephanie and Koda greet each other warmly. Koda continues:
“Life is like this journey. Don’t just focus on the destination and ‘getting there’, wherever ‘there’ is, but be present with the journey and meet each day with an open heart and mind.
As you see, on a train you go far, fast, and see many beautiful things, but you need to touch them too, walk with bare feet on the grass, smell the air, the flowers, feel the wind on your face. Feel what it is to live – fully live.
Life is a gift. Give thanks for that each day, and meet each day with a joyful heart. Express your gratitude and appreciation to those who love you and take nothing for granted.
I learned all this from what I experienced in my life: The tough times and the good ones.
I will also give thanks for the day I met you. For the day you took me into your home and your life. How you all loved me, cared for me, and gave me the life of my dreams. I feel so blessed, and I send now all my blessings and my love to you as you deal with the grief after my loss.
I had a good life, and I have no regrets. I keep the past in the past and center in the Now where the Divine holds me with love and light.
I send that Divine Light to you with all its blessings, and hold you in my love, as you have done for me all these years.
I am doing fine now, and I am by your side. Call on me whenever you need me.”
Koda stops speaking. The train has stopped and we go out and walk on the open grass. We’re going in the same direction as the train is driving, but we are in no hurry. Right here where we are is okay.
We walk up on a hill, and as we get to the top, we can see the sea far in the distance. I feel drawn to the sea.
A horse comes up on the ridge where we stand and greets us. Horse says to Stephanie:
“I am here to offer you my services, my guidance, my strength. Will you accept me into your life?”
Stephanie says: “Yes, please. I feel most honored to walk with you now.”
“Come here and get up”, Horse says.
Stephanie goes to Horse, touches him and leans her head against him for a while. Feeling the closeness, strength, and power of Horse. And the kindness.
Stephanie jumps up on Horse’s back. Koda jumps up too and sits in front of Stephanie.
“Are you ready?”, Horse asks.
“Yes, we are”, they say.
Horse starts walking. Heading for the sea in the distance, we pass through an orchard with many wonderful apples on the trees. We eat apples as we pass by, and give thanks for the gift.
We pass through a lavender field. Stephanie jumps down from Horse and picks a bouquet and gets back up on Horse.
We are getting close to the sea. Horse stops and says: “You will walk from here.”
We all walk down to the sea, including Horse. This is very interesting since I saw a woman walking a horse earlier, in ordinary reality, during my preparations.
We walk on the sand with bare feet, go out in the water and feel the water on our feet. Horse runs along the beach, looking very beautiful.
Koda loves it too. She explores, but stays close to Stephanie. They sit down close to the water and look around and down into the water.
A seagull is sitting on the water, bobbing up and down with the waves. He looks at us and makes eye contact. He flies up, circles around a while, and as he flies by Stephanie, Seagull says, “You can do it.”
I am reminded of the book, ‘Jonathan Livingston Seagull’. As I look at Stephanie, I see her standing with a copy of ‘Johnathan Livingston Seagull’ in her hand.
“Thank you”, she says to Seagull and waves as he flies off.
“Wow”, Stephanie says.”My heart is full, and I am in awe with all the gifts and experiences. Thank you so much all of you, especially Koda, my heart’s companion. I am so glad you are okay. I look forward to meeting you again and connecting with you in different ways. You are a wise one, and your heart is so kind. Thank you for everything you have been and done for me – for all of us. I will be forever grateful. I go home with all my gifts and memories. They are treasures, as are you. What is next for you?”
Koda smiles and says:
“Who knows? Perhaps a trip across the ocean? So much to explore. But I will always return to you. That is where my heart belongs. I love you all so much.
Bring them all my love as you go home. Tell them not to worry. Live, love, laugh, and know I am there with you in spirit, rejoicing with you, shining my light on your path, holding you in my love.
Go home now. I will stay here for now.”
They say a warm goodbye.
“I will get you home”, Horse says to Stephanie.
Stephanie gets up on Horse and she waves to Koda who sits by the sea, looking out in the distance.
As our distance to Koda grows, I notice a big angel coming from the light towards Koda, reaching the beach, bending down and embracing her. It reminds me of the Empress card from Radleigh Valentine’s Angel Wisdom Tarot Cards. Koda is safe, loved, and held in Divine Love.
I give thanks and end the journey.
