Angel Cat Darcy with Archangel Jophiel in Minnie’s Meadow

I have done journeys for many clients and brought back healing messages from their beloved pets, and I am pleased to be able to share here a Sacred Spirit Journey for Susan D. and her angel cat, Darcy, which I did on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

This Sacred Spirit Journey resonated very powerfully with Susan. She felt a deep connection with Darcy in Spirit and took inspiried action steps right away.


As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Susan’s angel cat Darcy, I hear the words:

“My little angel.” And I hear a little meow.

Darcy is nearby. It is dark, and as I repeat his name, I again hear the soft meow, this time closer, and I see his eyes right in front of me.

He looks into my eyes and sees me, knowing instantly my special bond with black kitties, and my losses.

Darcy jumps up on my lap and looks into my eyes and says:

“I am sorry for your losses. I see you still miss them a lot, but I also see the love. They love you too. Thank you for coming to see me on behalf of my humans.”

In the dark, I can see my spirit guide put out a bowl of healing water which Darcy drinks. Afterwards Darcy has a soft light around him.

At the same time, the sun is rising and darkness is replaced by light.

I see we are in nature. The morning light is magical. A path or country road appears before us, lined by trees. On the path, rose petals have been sprinkled. I am reminded of Archangel Jophiel.

As soon as the thought of Archangel Jophiel enters my mind, I feel transported to Archangel Jophiel’s temple in a place I call ‘Minnie’s meadow’ – a sanctuary in the Light that my angel cat Minnie has, and where many angel animals go. It is peaceful and healing here, and there is joy, and much beauty.

At the edge of Minnie’s meadow is Archangel Jophiel’s temple. As we look from the temple and down the path leading away from the temple, we see Darcy come running up the path towards us.

Darcy greets us warmly but quickly as he runs past us into the rose garden by the Temple. There, among the roses, Susan is standing, smelling the roses. Susan turns, sees Darcy, and she smiles and greets him warmly.

Darcy says:

“I figured this is where I could find you—among the flowers.”

There is a bench, and they sit on the bench surrounded by fragrant roses. Darcy sits on Susan’s lap, and Susan holds Darcy close. There is a feeling of deep peace and inner stillness. In this sanctuary, this place of beauty, all is well. Their hearts and souls recognize each other, and they know their bond is unbreakable.

Susan says: “You look well. Are you doing ok here?”

Darcy looks at her and says:

“Yes, I am doing fine. I can do many of my favorite activities here, and there is much loving help and opportunities to play.

I also visit you, for my heart is drawn to the place in which we shared such an important part of our life, and where we created many wonderful memories. I will cherish them all.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the good life I had, and for all the love you showed me.

Our souls are old friends—and old friends tend to meet up again, so don’t be surprised if I show up in some form, or send you little signs.

In your life, as you move forward with me guiding you from the light, take time to just BE, to watch the life and beauty around you, and to find joy in the little things.

When you meet each new day with gratitude and with an open heart, joy will invite itself in.

Think of me with joy, and feel the gratitude within your heart, for we were the lucky ones.

In life, it is more about Being than Doing. You will see that if you take time out to just Be every day. Even for just a few minutes. That is one of the keys to the joy we animals embody, and will always readily share with our human family.”

Darcy stops speaking. Darcy and susan look around a little, and Darcy then continues speaking:

“If you imagine being in this sacred place with me, you have a sanctuary you can return to anytime. It can help you get peace and connect with me. I am never far, but always near to those I hold dear.”

Archangel Jophiel joins us in her usual fuchsia pink color. She is bringing a little rose bush and says to Susan:

“Take this little rose bush and plant it in your garden. As it grows, beauty will grow in your life, as will joy, faith, and all thoughts positive, hopeful, and happy.

Let it remind you of your encounter with Darcy today, and of the precious time and bond you shared not just today but in your life together.

Darcy’s thankfulness will keep his legacy alive, for out of thankfulness, love blossoms.”

Susan accepts the rose and holds it close.

Darcy jumps down and begins walking towards the path.

“Can I walk you home?” Darcy asks Susan.

“Of course” Susan says. “There is nothing I could wish for more than that. I would be honored.”

We say thanks and goodbye to them and watch as they walk down the narrow path lined with various wildflowers. Darcy stops often to inspect them. Susan watches him with a smile. Before they disappear, they turn, and Susan waves to us. We wave back.

It is time for me to end the journey, so I give thanks for the special privilege it has been to meet sweet Darcy.

I say goodbye and end the journey.

Thank you so much for connecting with Darcy and for relaying the beautiful Sacred Spirit Journey. So much in your vision and message speaks to my heart. Darcy walked most days around my garden on a lead, and took great pleasure in proudly leading me back inside when he was ready to go home. Each day would start with an excited 6am leap on my bed and I would tell him that we had a new day — he would brush under my feet before they hit the floor. We smelled the roses and other flowers in the garden together, and I told him often that he is an angel.

When my cut roses are finished, I always sprinkle the rose petals on the lawn garden path to my house. Thank you for such a beautiful, life and love affirming sacred message.

I have to tell you that around 4am this morning I felt familiar little footsteps on my duvet. Thank you so much for so many affirmations in your message, and for sharing the vision of your precious Minnie’s Meadow with me. The rose I will plant is the one pictured – it matches the roses in the photo of Darcy. I have also ordered a Jophiel statue to place nearby in my courtyard. I will think of your healing message and my sweet angel Darcy whenever I go into my secret garden. I cannot thank you enough.

All animals are beautiful, but Darcy had an otherworldly sentience and I can now accept that he has returned home to the angelic realm – although I do expect him to visit occasionally.

When I was listening a random peaceful classical playlist on Spotify, the song ‘Whisper of Angles’ by Amici Forever came on. He was completely transfixed. This became his favourite song. I wish I had a video to show you. So I began to let him listen to beautiful music all day. I am so grateful to have been blessed to share time with Darcy, I know we will meet again and I will always treasure your message.
