After the loss of a beloved animal companion, one of things that can bring deep peace and comfort is connecting with the animal that has passed, for example through my Sacred Spirit Journeys, where I connect with the angel animal and bring back their healing message for their loved ones.
I will share below a Sacred Spirit Journey I did for Angie’s angel dog Aztec, and his beautiful healing message.

As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey for Angie’s angel dog Aztec, I am first drawn into my heart and from there I go upwards. Flying up, high up in the sky. There’s much beauty, freedom and space up here.
We, my spirit guide and I, see Aztec standing on a cloud.
Angie says, “My beautiful boy, you’re looking good. I’ve missed you.”
Angie and Aztec go into a house and are met by an elderly woman who greets them warmly as if she knows them. It is a reunion. They spend time together – happy time, share memories, joys, stories, talking about life.
As it is time to leave, they say a warm goodbye. The woman smiles and says, “Come again soon.”
Outside, Aztec and Angie stand together and look around. They are connected and have enough in just being together. Precious time they don’t want to waste on not BEING fully present.
Aztec says, “I’ll stay here for a while.”
They walk down to the beach. A ferry comes, and Angie says a warm goodbye to Aztec. Angie says, “I’m ready to go back home now.” and boards the ferry.
Angie waves as the ferry sails away. It seems that she needed this meeting in order to find inner peace.
I ask my spirit guide about Angie and Aztec’s reunion with the elderly woman.

“Hello there”, he says. “I’m glad you came. I’ve been waiting to show you my special place.”Eagle comes and we all go up on his back. Aztec is sitting in front.
“Look at the beautiful landscape,” Aztec says as we fly over oceans and land with many green trees and beautiful nature.We fly down on a beach where we meet Angie who is sitting on a beach chair. She is wearing light summer clothes and has sun glasses on. She gets very happy when she sees Aztec. He jumps up on her lap and she hugs him, holding him close to her heart.
Angie says, “My beautiful boy, you’re looking good. I’ve missed you.”
Aztec says:Aztec guides Angie to carry him inland. We are in a place that looks like somewhere in southern Europe, perhaps Greece, Spain or a similar place. We walk along some narrow streets. There are some white houses and flowers outside many homes.
“I’ve missed being with you too, the way we used to, but even though I’m not in my physical body anymore, I’m still with you in spirit, bringing you all my love and inspiration and beauty from my adventures in spirit. I like to travel, see beautiful places and things, and bring them back to you, so your soul can rejoice and your dreams can flourish.
Live fully, with everything you have in your heart. Let your soul shine, and let your heart show the love that it carries.
It is with deep gratitude I have come to you today, for the life we shared was full and I have no regrets. Our souls are connected, you know that deep in your heart.
I am a reminder that it is often in the little things that the biggest joys can be found.
Dream, but don’t let the dreams prevent you from living fully in the Now.
Be present in your daily life with all your focus and presence, and with a grateful heart. See the beauty around you and within yourself. Appreciate the kindness you’re being shown, and show too your appreciation to those that you meet.
The way to live fully and joyfully is to be fully in the present moment. Find the light that shines in everything and everyone, and bring to each encounter the joy I taught you to feel and share. A joy that comes from the deep love you and I shared – that love is still with you, even if I’m in spirit.
Feel, use, and share that love as generously as you can, for it comes from a well that never runs dry. It comes from the infinite well of compassion and is an unconditional love. Just like a flower blooms, so shall your love bloom too.
I travel through your heart and so can you. You have a beautiful heart. Treasure it and know I am near – always – bathing in the love you always showered me with.
Like the great love stories you have read and heard about, we share our story of unforgettable love too. The kind that two souls whose purpose and hearts are connected share.
