Christmas without your pet

Christmas without your petIf your beloved pet has recently died, then the upcoming Christmas won’t be joyful for you, and you will feel the emptiness after the loss of your pet even more.

Christmas is, for many people, a time for joyful celebration with loved ones, and it’s also – after the busy preparations are over – a time for quiet contemplation, a time where you think of the year that has passed and of the new year that is near.

At this time the pain of the grief after the loss of you pet will be strong, and so will the yearning and longing for your deceased pet be.

When you feel like that, it’s easy to get stuck in the pain and grief. And thinking of all the good times you had with your pet will be almost more painful than joyful.

But now I want you to try something…

Imagine for a moment that your grief, suffering, and longing would quiet down, and you’d begin to have moments where you felt comfort and peace of mind, and you were able to think of the time you’ve spent with your now deceased pet with love and gratitude.

And imagine feeling the spirit and joy of Christmas and seeing the light and love that your pet brought into your life reflected in every Christmas light around you.
