If you feel torn apart by guilt after the death of your pet, you’re not alone. It’s very common to have strong feelings of guilt after the loss of your beloved pet.
The overwhelming feelings of guilt often come in cases
- where you had to euthanize your pet,
- where your pet suddenly died,
- or he or she died a violent death, like for instance after being hit by a car.
Those feelings can be hard to deal with, and they may in some cases be quite difficult to let go of. You can get far by learning how to accept and experience the feelings, for example through meditation, but the mind will often go on and on with thoughts like: “Did I do the right thing?” or “If only I had been there, I could have prevented my pet’s death.”
What is the belief you have, that causes you to feel guilty?
When you are overwhelmed by feelings of grief and guilt, it might not be easy to accept the feelings of guilt and tell yourself that you did the right thing (and not believing it anyway).
That is where shamanic journeying can be helpful. Through the gentle process and powerful healing of shamanic journeying I can connect with your deceased pet and hear directly from him (or her), if he’s okay in the afterlife, and if he has any messages for you – and make sure he gets whatever healing help he needs. And I can pass on to him whatever messages you have.
I have several pets myself, and I have experienced how, after one of my cats died, it was an enormous help to me to be able to connect with my pet, help him get settled in the afterlife and have my urgent questions answered by him.
