It is through Sacred Spirit Journeys, a variation of shamanic journeys, that I connect and communicate with animals in the afterlife. Through these journeys I can also connect with animals that are still alive, and with Spirit. These journeys also bring healing, guidance and insights for clients concerning many different aspects of their lives. One thing that brings much comfort when your beloved pet has passed, is to receive a personal healing message from them.
You can both listen to and read Leroy Murphy’s message below.
As I am preparing for the Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Megan’s angel cat Leroy Murphy, I become centered, close my eyes for a few minutes and allow myself to become calm. I open my eyes and look at the photo of Megan holding Leroy Murphy with him looking directly at the camera. For a second I see the face of a cougar when looking at Leroy Murphy’s face. I try to do it several times: close my eyes and then open my eyes and let them focus in a relaxed way on Leroy Murphy’s face, and cougar seems to come forth from beyond or within him every time. Fascinating.
As I then call on my spirit guides, I get more indications that this journey is more than a message, and that it is going to be very ‘journey-like’ as several of my spirit guides step forth.
Last I call on Leroy Murphy, and as soon as I have done that, I hear:
“I am waiting . . .”
I am pleased that he has acknowledged my reaching out to him, but I do not rush the journey. I take time to move even more fully into the present moment, filling out my body with my awareness, with gratitude. When I fill my being with gratitude, a strong nature and flower energy is added to the presence and the light. It feels like gratitude adds life and beauty. It is hard to explain, but it is very distinct and beautiful.
And there is another message from Leroy Murphy:
“Use gratitude for connecting with me. On the wings of gratitude, you can fly to my landscape.”
I feel myself standing on the beach in a familiar journey landscape. I wonder what flying on the wings of gratitude looks like, and instantly, Eagle, one of my guides, approaches me and says:
“I will show you.”
My spirit guide and I get up on Eagle’s back. Megan arrives and wants to come along. In the last moment before Eagle takes off, she jumps up to us. We smile at each other, and look around us as Eagle soars.
The landscape is magnificent. Beach, vast sea, blue sky. We fly in over Bear country. A big forested area where I often meet Bear.
We fly further than usual. We are flying over a spectacular wilderness area. There are mountains and hills here, open plains, meadows, and even a swamp. That is how vast it is.
At the foot of a small mountain, Leroy Murphy is standing, waiting for Megan. And he is not alone. Beside him an impressive Cougar is standing. It looks like they are friends.
“We are”, says Leroy Murphy.
“Indeed”, Cougar responds.
Megan is so excited to see them that she goes right away and greets them warmly, also cougar.
“I figure since Cougar is with Leroy Murphy, he is friendly”, Megan says.
Cougar looks at Megan and says:
“In the wilderness that is the world and life, I can be your guide, and in the beauty that is your heart, Leroy Murphy is your perfect guide. You are capable of anything you put your mind to. I bring the power, determination, courage, and intention to do so. I help you in situations where you need to or decide to take confident charge of your life.”
And Leroy Murphy adds:
“I bring the heart, which is the most important, for without heart, the meaning and soul of your endeavor is lost.”
Leroy Murphy walks to Megan and jumps up in her arms and Megan holds him.
“Just like you used to,” says Leroy Murphy, “I miss ‘us’ too, but I am fine. I am happy and I am supported and loved here. This is my spirit home, but my heart belongs to you.
When I am a lot on your mind, you can count on that I am close; right by you, where I love to be.
Thank you for reaching out to me like this. I truly appreciate that. It opens your heart, dispels your doubts, and enables our re-connection via the heart and soul bond that is uniquely ours.
You see, our connection doesn’t end after one of us has died. No, our souls and hearts: Their connection goes beyond the physical.
Thank you for all the love, the joy, the soulful moments where our hearts met and rejoiced.
Thank you for letting me be part of your life. One part of our souls’ journey has ended, but another has already begun on our mutual journey through eternity.
Soul friends, co-travelers in all lifetimes. When you see with the heart, it is easy for us to recognize each other.”
Leroy Murphy then jumps down and goes behind a rock and tells Megan to come.
“This is for you from us”, he says.
Megan looks and sees a canvas with a very beautiful painting. It is a painting of this stunning wilderness we are in. There is a big view over the landscape and the mountains, and two smaller figures in the middle ground before the mountains are clearly distinguishable as Leroy Murphy and Cougar.
It almost feels like they are inviting the viewer into their landscape for adventures.
“We are”, they say as one, smiling.
“Wow, that’s really for me?”, Megan says.
Leroy Murphy says:
“Yes, of course, it is. You can enter our landscape via this painting or your imagination of it, or you can let Eagle help you like he did in the beginning of the journey. Just look within your heart, and you will know how to get to me.
Either that or simply invite me to join you. I will come if you call. Always.
You are my heart’s love. My companion. My dearest friend.
Thank you for everything.”
Megan puts down the painting for a moment and hugs Leroy Murphy and kisses him. Their bond is undeniable. It’s beautiful. It’s love.
It is time to go home again.
Leroy Murphy says:
“I will join you and and see you get home well. Plus it allows me to get some cozy time.”
They say thanks and goodbye to Cougar.
“I’ll be back”, Leroy Murphy says to Cougar.
Megan thanks Cougar from the heart, and says:
“Thanks so much for your offer to be my friend and guide. I will be honored to accept, and I will do my best to be worthy of your trust.”
Megan takes the painting in one hand, and Leroy Murphy in the other arm close to her heart where he loves being. Megan smiles and says: “I am heading home. My arms are full, and so is my heart. Thank you so much.”
“You’re welcome”, I say smiling.
I watch them leave, take a last look at the beautiful wilderness landscape, and let my spirit guide take me home. I give thanks and end the journey.

Below is Megan’s response to the Sacred Spirit Journey I did for her beloved Leroy Murphy (shared with permission).Omg this is amazing. Cougar has been part of my life since I was young, and has come to me in dreams many times throughout my life. Always during the hardest times. I have a coffee cup with a beautiful cougar on it.
I miss Leroy Murphy sooo much, he was such a good boy. I felt so bad for him while he was sick and I felt so helpless to save him.
Thank you, for this has warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes in good way. Riding an eagle with you is SO EPIC!
I have several more dear animals that I will send to you to gather a message.
Thank you for all you do ♥️♥️
