[The heart’s other half – Julie’s angel cat Lila] This is the Sacred Spirit Journey I did for Julie and her angel cat Lila. I did this journey on February 8, 2026.



As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Julie’s angel cat Lila, a key part is simply to become fully present in the Now. I take a deep breath in, and relax into peace and presence on the exhalation. Being here now. I surrender to the Now, to what is, and allow peace to emerge. The peace that is underlying our lives. The peace of the Divine. The peace and love that shines from those beautiful eyes of Lila’s as she rests in the arms of her beloved human companion Julie.

I center in my heart where a light shines. As I focus on the light, it expands, filling my whole being and beyond. The light radiates far and wide in all directions.

I think of Lila and softly say her name. As I do, I feel angels from all around are coming toward me, enveloping me in their Divine Love, Peace, and Light. I sense them around me, and then I see the beautiful visitor they bring: Lila.

Radiant, Lila stands gracefully before me. She looks at me with gentleness and kindness. Lila is confident and at peace.

“Hello”, Lila says. “I’m so glad you came. I’m thankful Julie reached out to me. I knew her heart was seeking mine.

Please tell her that her heart is never apart from mine, although it may feel like it at times when grief and the pain of the loss hit hard.

Just look at my heart and see that energy cord that goes out – from me to her. A bond that was in place from the beginning. We were soul mates from the beginning, our hearts and souls always touching.”

Lila makes a slight move, and suddenly Julie shows up. With her are many soft pink roses and rose petals.

“A gift from me to you,” Julie says to Lila. “A sign of my love for you.”

Julie sees how healthy and strong Lila is, looks around and sees all the angels around her.

Julie says: “I knew you belonged with the angels, for you are one of them. I feel blessed for sharing my life with an angel. Thank you for everything, my sweet Lila. I love you with my heart and soul.”

Lila jumps up in Julie’s arms, and they embrace in stillness for a while. It feels so good and right to touch and feel ‘the heart’s other half’.

Lila says:

“Even though I’m in spirit now, my heart is still with you, for our connection is one that goes beyond the physical, beyond the mental; it’s a connection of the Divine, of the soul.


Every time you want to connect with me, just go into your heart and see me there. Find me there. The peace I bring, the love, the presence of the Divine.

Thank you to you both for everything you have done and been for me. For many good years. I have lived a full life and shared my Divine purpose with you as I intended. My Divine Light now shines in your heart and touches many that you encounter in your daily life.


I lived in love, sharing my love with you. That is the ultimate purpose, for Divine Love is what holds the world together and brings meaning to people’s lives. Many don’t know it till they experience it, for they grow up disconnected from the Divine. Then, a little kitty like me – or another animal comes along and opens their heart, and then they see. They see what they couldn’t see before. They feel love, they regain hope, and life is meaningful again.



Today, I bring a message of peace, assuring you that I am well, very well as you can see, and that you can move forward with your life knowing deep in your heart that I am by your side and in your heart.

Two hearts like ours that belong together cannot be separated.

I’m there when you need it. I cheer you with every move you need to make, I sit with you in silence when you need someone who understands you to hold you, to be with you. I never judge, I love unconditionally, from the deep well of Divine pure love.

Live, love, bring joy back into your life. Take moments in private or among friends where you share fond memories and new experiences as well.

Reach out and say hi, for I am near. Reaching out to me is also a way for you to reconnect with the Divine, with the peace that connects us, and with the beauty that exists as well.

Look at the eyes. When you find a new kitty, you’ll know it’s right when you look into the eyes. You’ll be fine.”

Lila stops speaking and Julie says:

“Thank you so much, Lila, for your beautiful and wise message. I feel my soul has known you forever, and I know we will see each other again. Thank you for everything. I feel so blessed to have you in my life.”

Lila kisses Julie and jumps down. She walks ahead and we follow. We walk on a grassy meadow filled with the most beautiful wildflowers.

Lila says to Julie:

“Go among the flowers and pick a bouquet of the most beautiful ones and bring them back home with you.

They will bring beauty into your home and life, and remind you of our meeting today.”

Julie walks among the flowers, tells them how beautiful they are and respectfully picks a lovely bouquet. She smiles as she shows them to Lila. Lila nods in appreciation.

It’s time for Julie to go home, so they say a warm goodbye and ‘see you later’. As Julie leaves, she holds the flower bouquet close to her heart and waves to Lila.

I give thanks, say goodbye and end the journey.
