As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Sarita’s angel dog Leo, I feel drawn to center in my heart space while focusing on Leo. I am also aware of my breath, and with each breath, Leo’s presence becomes stronger in my heart.
Interestingly, the pink color from the blanket he is lying on in the photo is also present in my heart.
There seems to be particular focus on the color, for it connects us with and draws us to the special rose garden which I access through my heart center. It is very seldom that others besides me and my spirit guide are in that sacred place.
The green grass in the garden is short, and rose bushes in several colors, especially pink, are spread around the place.
Under one of the rose bushes, my angel cat Kia is sleeping.
Leo is there, walking around on the grass, investigating. As he sees Kia, he slowly goes closer. Kia opens her eyes and looks at him, then nods and goes back to sleep, stretching, readjusting her position a little.
Leo goes close and lies down near Kia. At first he is alert, checking how she reacts, but when she allows him to lie close, he settles down about half a meter from Kia and closes his eyes. I can see that he is not really sleeping, for his ears are moving slightly, listening to the sounds of the place. Birds are singing, there is a slight breeze. And his nose catches the beautiful fragrance of the roses.
Sarita enters the garden, and I greet her and show her around. Leo hears her, and they greet each other warmly.
Sarita asks Leo: “How are you doing, my friend?”
Leo says:
“I’m doing well. I have full use of all my senses now, and I am strong and healthy.
I am at peace in this beautiful place. There are many such beautiful places in the Light, and so much love and helpful guidance.
As you guess, yes, I am spending time with good old friends. We have much fun together.
I especially love to hang out where you are. Feel your presence, and send you my love, my gratitude. I smile with you when you smile, hold you in my love when you are sad.
I am never far. When you call, I hear you. I feel you. I know you need me and I come to you.
Loving friends, loyal companions in life – and likewise in spirit.
Our connection never changed, only the conditions surrounding it.
Center in your heart, and you have direct access to me.
As you know, our bond is of the heart and soul.
I live close to the Earth. I teach you to stay grounded and appreciate the little things. But I also like to inspire, and like you, I desire to soar. So keep dreaming your dreams, and follow them boldly. I will be cheering you on and accompanying you every step of the way.
Even a small one like me finds a way to soar.”
At that moment, a big eagle comes flying, circling around above us. Eagle lands on an open grassy hill next to the garden that opens up to a wide open landscape that stretches further than the eyes can see.
We all get up on Eagle’s back, and Eagle easily takes off and flies high up above the landscape. It is stunningly beautiful from up here.
I sit in the back with my spirit guide, and before me sits Sarita, holding on to Leo. They are looking around in awe, and with smiles on their faces.
Eagle stops on a mountain top, and we get off his back.
There is a little shrine there that Sarita and Leo approach. They stand there in silence for a while.
I notice the sun is beginning to set. We all go and watch the magnificent sunset.
Sarita asks Leo: “Was your passing painful?”
Leo answers:
“No, you held me in your love, so I was at peace. It was my time. You did the right thing.
Be at peace, my dear. Everything is all right.”
Sarita asks Leo: “The 4 times you barked when you passed: Did you say anything to me by doing that? What do I need to understand or know?”
Leo says:
“I was saying:
Thank you, my sweet love. I leave with gratitude in my heart and will treasure my life with you forever.
Have faith that our souls will join again and continue their journey through the Universe.
I will love you forever.
Goodbye and thank you from my heart.”
Leo looks at Sarita, and as their eyes meet, they see each other’s soul that they know so well. Deep in their hearts, they know they will meet again, and that their bond is forever.
Sarita says:
“I now know how to walk forth in faith. I know you are by my side. Live your life in the Light, be happy and play. I know you will come if I call. Thank you for everything, my sweet Leo. Thank you.”
Leo says “Thank you too” as he eases once more, further into Sarita’s embrace for a while. Above are millions of stars, twinkling magically. And one of them expands or opens, and from that star an angel comes forth and greets Leo and asks, “Are you ready?”
Leo say: “Yes, I am ready now.”
Sarita and Leo say a warm goodbye with thankful hearts, and as we watch in awe, Leo and the angel enter the Light. The star returns to normal size and twinkles a few times with extra strong light as a greeting to Sarita.
I say goodbye to Sarita. She then focuses on her heart and says: “Home”, and instantly she is back in her own place again. As she goes to look out her window, she sees a feather in the window sill, and says: “Thank you Leo and Eagle.”
Sarita is at peace. I give thanks and end the journey.
