[Marianne and Angel Cat Oscar – Soulmates Forever] In this podcast episode, I share a Sacred Spirit Journey I did to connect with my angel cat Oscar on December 23, 2025.


Our cat Oscar came to us through the cat door in the middle of the night. He was terrified and on the verge of starving to death. He desperately tried to get out again and was literally trying to climb the wall to escape. Fortunately, we saw past Oscar’s fear, and did not let him out again where he would surely have perished.

We managed to get him into a room where he could be away from the other kitties and have his own space until he got settled. He finally began eating and using the litter box, and we breathed a sigh of relief.

Oscar was a “ghost” kitty for the first month. I would sing to him, but heard no sound or movements. The only indication he was there was the food was eaten, and the litter box had been used. Eventually, little by little, Oscar came out and he and I became inseparable companions. He loved when I sang to him, and he was very vocal himself.

The following is the Sacred Spirit Journey I did to connect with Oscar. As I do this Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Oscar, it is over 3 months since his passing.

I begin the journey. I become present here where I am. It’s quiet around me now. I take a deep breath in and relax into peace and presence on the exhalation. Being here now with whatever I feel.

I sense the light in my heart, connect with it, and move with the light as it streams down to my feet and from there into the Earth.

As the light enters the Earth, I feel love and joy from the Earth beings. Surprisingly, I see the gnome from our garden approaching me. He says:

“I am sorry for your loss. We take good care of your beloved Oscar when he is here. We see the love you two have for each other. A sacred kind of love to be cherished, honored, and respected. A love to surrender to. There is no other way, for it is destined. Your souls are connected at the deepest level. We send you both our blessings.”

I thank the gnome for the kind words which mean very much to me.

I then feel I’m rising or floating upwards with the light, the love, the joy, and the blessings, and the sacredness in my heart.

My spirit guide is in my heart, ringing a small bell with the finest angelic sound.

We float upwards, all the way up where the Big Light is. I cannot see many details but see a bright Divine Light, and an opening into the Divine.

I see a host of angels coming out to meet us.

The angels move to one side and reveal in their midst the most wonderful sight: Oscar, standing among them, looking strong, healthy, alert, and happy.

Oscar walks straight over to me, and I squat down and greet him. It’s like the piece in my heart that felt lost, has been retrieved.

Oscar plops down and lies on his side right where we are, and I lie down next to him, holding him. Just like we used to do all the time when he was alive. This is where I belong. This is where Oscar belongs. Together with me. Together again.

I sing softly to him, and he sighs and stretches his head back to look at me and touches me. He inches as close as he can with his body, so there is no space between us.

Oscar says, “I’ve missed you.”

I say. “I’ve missed you too. It’s been so tough without you. My heart has been hurting, my whole being feeling lost.”

Oscar says:

“You can rest and be at peace now. I’m here. I’m proud of you for reaching out this way, and I am so grateful. You’re my heart’s light and love, and our hearts belong together. Together we are whole. Together we feel peace and wholeness.”

I take a deep breath in and relax into the peace that Oscar holds for me – and that the angels wrap us in.

I feel I’m dozing off, and we both float away, over beautiful landscapes. We are flying in the air, looking at everything down below. The sea, animals, different kinds of landscapes. The beauty of the Earth with all its beings.

As we pass over the landscapes, we radiate our love for each other and everything and everybody we see. The landscape and all the beings light up, get infused with our Divine love. Everything radiates love back to us. A very special experience.

We end up on the beach I go to in many journeys, and where my angel cat Peace often is. I’m glad to see Peace is there now. My spirit guide jumps out from my heart, and together, we join Peace.

I greet Peace and tell him how much I love him too, so much. He’s happy to see us and welcomes Oscar.

We look out over the water and enjoy being in this healing place. It is rejuvenating.

A big brown bear, who is also one of my guides, comes out form the forest on our left, walking slowly towards us. Bear keeps a distance, sits down, looks at us, and moves her head while making some sounds. Oscar looks at Bear, and nods. Bear walks closer to us, and says:

I come in peace. I am a protector and guide for Oscar. And I am a healer too. Will you accept me in your life?”

My spirit guide goes to and greets Bear, puts down some healing sparkling water, and Bear drinks of the water.

My spirit guide looks at us, and nods.

We go to Bear, and Oscar goes slowly close to Bear and drinks some of the healing water.

The radiance from the water fills them both. Oscar thanks Bear for being his friend and guide.

Oscar says:

“I will go with Bear now for a while, and return to your heart and presence. Our love doesn’t need many words. It is a love that is beyond ordinary love, it it Divine.

Thank you, Marianne, for your love and for everything you have done for me. For taking me in that night I came to you, starving.

Thank you for seeing beyond my fear, and your singing and dedication and never giving up on me but having faith that I would slowly learn to trust and come near. I did, and I never left, for my heart belongs with yours.

The Universe will always lead our souls to each other. Our paths are destined to cross again.

Healing and a deepening of our hearts’ connection has taken place today. I am truly grateful, and I will always keep this sacred meeting in my heart.

Thank you, and goodbye for now, my sweet one. It is time for you to return home. I will be around. I am very well, as you can see, and I am so glad you are well too. Let the grief be there, but keep returnng to the undying love that fills you. I will hold you in my love and gratitude forever.

I will forever be your Oscar.”

I thank and say goodbye to Oscar and Peace and kiss them both. I also thank Bear and my spirit guide.

With gratitude in my heart, I end the journey.
