‘Our Love Is Forever’ ─ Angel Dog Lady

[‘Our Love Is Forever’ ─ Angel Dog Lady] In this podcast episode, I share a Sacred Spirit Journey I did to connect with Marie’s angel dog Lady. I did this Journey on August 28, 2025.


As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey to connect with Marie’s angel dog Lady, I become present in the Now. Taking a deep breath in, and relaxing into peace and presence on the exhalation. I experience how with each breath my heart center expands and is filled with light. The expansion goes out in all directions, and goes far beyond what I can possibly imagine.

While focused on my heart, I send out the intention to meet Lady. Suddenly she is there, by my feet. Looking up at me with her big soulful eyes. I smile, greet her warmly, bend down and open my arms. Lady walks right into my arms, settles down and says:

“Will you take me to Marie?”

“Of course,” I say.

I ask my spirit guide for help, and he points downward in front of us. There I see a path of light with red rose petals sprinkled all the way.

Lady gets excited, jumps down and begins walking briskly ahead.

We see a unicorn standing by the side of the path. Lady calls out to the Unicorn, greeting it and inviting it to join us. Unicorn accepts, and we all continue our walk.

We pause by an apple orchard on our right side, and we are offered a bag of beautiful ripe homegrown apples.

We taste them, and they taste wonderful, like the apples of long ago.
With unicorn and the apples, we continue. I see more of the landscape now. There is a steep hillside on our left side, and looking up, we see a big hawk flying over us from left to right, screeching. We wave, saying hello. Lady is excited about the adventure.

Then we see a tree on our right with a bench facing away from the path. On that bench, a person is sitting. “Marie!” exclaims Lady and runs over to greet her.

It is an emotional reunion between two whose hearts are bonded, even though they were unable to be together for the last period of Lady’s life. Lady, now sitting on Marie’s lap, looks into Marie’s eyes and says:

“It is okay. That was our path this lifetime, so we could deepen the spirit bond. Neither of us forgot the other, but felt the love grow and strengthen, as true love does.

Separation comes with much sadness and pain, but if you keep returning to your heart and enter deep within the heart, feel how I am there, my gentle loving self, who never stopped loving you, but found my way back to your heart which is my true home.

As I have now entered the Divine, the Big Light, I hold the light for you that you may find rest and peace and healing for your heart, there.

As you, in quiet moments focus on your heart and slowly breathe in and out while saying my name silently within you, then experience how my love, and my light fill you, comfort you, and bring you the deep peace that signals we are one at a deep soul level.

Our souls are of the same family. Our souls recognized each other when we met, and even though we are not together anymore in this life of mine, we will meet again in the timing of the Divine. That cannot be rushed. It doesn’t matter how long time it takes, for till then our hearts stay in touch and our souls can meet in journeys, dreams, and meditation.

Allow yourself to be still, and when stillness settles, I am there.

I always knew how deep and all-encompassing your love for me was. Mine for you was just as deep.

During the final period, when we were not together in physical form, I thought of you and your love, and found peace therein, knowing I would see you again in some form and way. And see, I did. Aren’t we the lucky ones?


I did recognize you on the last day. That helped me find peace, making the transition easier.

As you have seen by now, I am doing very well. We’ve brought a unicorn friend to see you, we have apples for you too, and hawk announced your nearness to us, for not long after hawk flew over us, we saw you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I say with deep peace and gratitude.

Thank you for everything you have done and been for me, for opening your heart to me, for keeping your heart open to me, even when my physical form is gone.

You trusted your heart which told you I was still around, and I am. I will always be near, and always by your side when you need me and when you call.

You can walk in peace as you walk home, for my heart has touched yours again, and they know we can never be separated. Our love is forever, just like in the great movies.

Bless you, my dearest friend.”


Marie hugs Lady, and thanks her for her long loving message.

Marie greets the unicorn who greets and blesses her, wrapping her in its magical healing light. Unicorn says to Marie:

“I see your heart is pure, your love for Lady is pure. Call on me if you need my help and guidance. Never stop believing in miracles.”

Marie also accepts the bag of apples. She smiles as she sees them, and says:

“Thank you so much for all these gifts and displays of love and generosity. I will walk in peace, because I know my sweet girl is fine, she loves me, and she is near. Bless you, sweet Lady, you are one of a kind. May I see you again?”

Lady says, “Of course, anytime.”

Then they all say a warm goodbye and Marie closes her eyes and thinks of home and is instantly back home again. As she puts down the bag of apples, she notices right next to the apples a wet paw print.

“Lady.” Marie exclaims and smiles. She feels at peace and goes over and sits in a chair, closes her eyes and dreams sweet dreams about her beloved Lady.

I say goodbye and end the journey.
